There are two extrusion processes used to make vinyl fence, single extrusion and co-extrusion. Single extrusion is the original way vinyl fence is made. It is a process that injects a U.V. protector into the entire profile, providing 100% Coverage against harmful UV rays. Country Estate Fence is single extruded and constructed exclusively of solid wall virgin polyvinyl compounds.

Most fence companies use co-extrusion because it is cheap. Co-extruded products are extruded with a capstock (the thin outer layer) and a substrate (the inner layer). In co-extruded products, only 20% of the wall thickness contains U.V protection providing only a paper thin protected outer layer. In time the outer layer will wear off and the fence profiles will begin to become brittle, crack and peel.

Compare Country Estate's single extruded fence to any co-extruded fence product and it becomes obvious that competitors are making co-extruded products rather than virgin solid wall fencing for no other reason than to increase their profits.

So Buyer Beware!
It is not always easy to recognize a co-extruded product. Country Estate uses only high quality materials, stabalizers and modifiers for their solid-wall 100% virgin vinyl fence.
